Custom Floater Frames

Traditionally, frames were set on top of artwork. The artwork would rest against the “lip” of the frame, and would be attached from behind. “Floater” frames are the opposite  of this. Floater frames allow the artwork to be set on top of the frame. This creates the impression that the artwork is “floating” inside the frame. Floater frames create a sleek, modern, minimalist look.

Floater frames are typically paired with canvas paintings. However, we have framed many different things with floater frames for our clients. If you need something modern and minimalist, floater frames are a great option.
