Designer Bevel Accents
When using a mat on artwork, the opening has a beveled edge. Bevel accents are acid free foam core strips wrapped with conservation grade colored paper.
Bevel accents are placed underneath the bevel of the matboard in order to extend the length of the bevel and provide extra depth. Bevel accents provide enhanced dimension through that depth and can really “pop” a piece of artwork.
